What better way to herald the official start of summer than with flowers in your hair. I can’t wait to be back at the The Fold’s gorgeous Carthouse in June, with a workshop where we’ll create beautiful floral crowns using UK-grown dried flowers, which will last you through the whole summer and beyond.
You’ll learn wiring and taping techniques, working with a variety of colourful, dried stems, and will leave with a delightful halo of blooms to wear. As always, we’ll use 100% locally sourced and UK-grown materials.
Delicious refreshments are included in your ticket price.
In addition, The Fold are planning a free Summer Solstice Community Gathering close by on site at 12 noon on this date, so why not take your new crown to celebrate in style after the workshop. The Fold is also home to a number of creative, independent businesses in the artisan village, just a few steps away, so maybe add in some shopping too.
